Flush-mounted trail or mile markers are fabricated from aluminum, stainless steel, or polyethylene. They are permanently installed (top row photos)  at grade level into the concrete or black top. They can be any shape, size, or  color, and are clear-coated so they will last for decades. 

Flush-mounted markers come in a removable form ( bottom row photos ) . This  version is secured with screws to a base plate that is buried in the concrete or black top. Like the permanent marker, this version is also fully customizable and clear-coated to last for years. The possibilities are endless as installation and removal are quick and easy.
